... ok, the lead up to the trip might turn out to be the hardest part - ever! With less than 20 hours to go, there's still no sign of the airline ticket (Thanks Opodo – your new word for the day should be ‘Customer Service’ !), the travel insurance policy should arrive in 5 days by snail mail (that's effective use of the internet and email technology by Norwich Union for you! – every other insurance company emails the policy documents…) and I have no trip info from (yes, you guessed it, another internet storefront - Gecko's Adventure (and what an adventure this is!) as their email server's down… still)... and to top things off, the Travel Medical centre called this morning to say that they need to shift my appointment to later on in the week as the nurse is sick... well, by the time she gets back I will be dying of Malaria... never mind!
I feel sorry for all these people being stuck with jobs they are either incapable of handling or just hate so much that they don't give a damn anymore! If I end up on the plane tomorrow with all the necessary documents, that would be nothing short of a miracle!... and with that kind of luck, I might as well start playing the National Lottery!
