All Blacks Test in Cardiff - November 2006

This year’s final test of the All Blacks European tour saw the ‘Men in black’ take on an ever so hopeful Wales side at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. Wales haven’t beaten the All Blacks since 1953… after coming close a couple of times over recent years, this was going to be night the 53 year dry spell would be broken… well, enter the All Blacks and 80 minutes of exciting rugby… a 45-10 victory for the All Blacks! Is this a sign of what’s to come at next year’s Rugby World Cup?...

Cardiff has more to offer than a superb Millennium Stadium, the Castle alone would be worth a visit! 2000 years of history in the heart of the city. From the arrival of the Romans, through the Norman Conquest to lavish Victorian design – all have left their distinctive mark on the Castle…
