I have always liked volcanoes,
big volcanoes! Cone-shaped and snow-capped they rise above the land. If you
have seen Mt Fuji (Japan), Mt Taranaki (New Zealand), Popocatepetl (Mexico) you know what I
am talking about! Not the prettiest of the lot, but Mt Kilimanjaro (Africa’s
highest peak - 5895m a.s.l.) in Tanzania has always been on my ‘must-see’
